The institute is the sixth member of the IIT fraternity. And it was founded in 1994.
The academic program of IIT Guwahati started in 1995. Currently, the institute consists of eleven departments, seven interdisciplinary academic centers, and five schools.
Science, Management, Engineering, Healthcare, and Humanities disciplines, including B.Tech., B.Des., MA, M.Des., M.Tech., M.Sc., MBA, and Ph.D. Program Within a short period of time, IIT Guwahati has been able to create a world-class infrastructure for conducting advanced research.
The institute is equipped with advanced scientific and engineering facilities. Apart from excellence in teaching and research, IIT Guwahati since its establishment in 1994 has been able to fulfill the aspirations of the people of the Northeast.

A) Part-Time Sports Instructor (On Consolidated pay):

Swimming [02 (1 male and 1 female)],

Volleyball (01),
Weight Lifting (01).
Work Duration:
For a period of a maximum of 10 months starting from September, 2022.
Remuneration:
Maximum of 25,000 per month based on qualification and experience.
B) Part-Time Sports Instructor (On Consolidated pay):
Chess (01),
Squash (01)
Work Duration:
for a period of a maximum of 05 months starting from September, 2022.
Remuneration:
Maximum of 25,000 per month based on qualification and experience.
C) Part-Time Sports Instructor (On Consolidated pay):
Water Polo (01).
Work Duration:
For a period of a maximum of 04 months.
Remuneration:
Maximum of 25,000 per month based on qualification and experience
Minimum Qualification Required:
Diploma in Coaching or Certificate in Coaching.
OR
Bachelor in Physical Education.
OR
Graduate + Diploma in Physical Education.
OR
Participation in International / National / Inter University / Zonal Level competition with 10+2 general qualifications.
Experience Required:
Minimum of 01 years of experience preferred.
Freshers may also apply.
Age Limit:
Upper age limits up to 45 years as of the interview date.
Job Type:
Purely Temporary Basis
Job Timings:
Duty hours: 6 days in a week from 5:00 PM to 9.00 PM.
