The Staff Selection Commission will conduct the Graduate Level Examination for filling up various Group 'B' posts in various Ministries/Departments/Institutions of the Government of India.

Following are the posts to be filled through examination in various Ministries/Departments/Offices/Cadres in Government Group “B"
Nationality/Citizenship:
01) A candidate must be either:
02) A citizen of India, or
03) A subject of Nepal, or
04) A Subject of Bhutan, or
05) Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India,
OR
06) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Age limit (As on 01-01-2022):
01) For the posts for which the age limit is 18-27 years:
The candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1995 and not later than 01-01-2004.
02) For the posts for which the age limit is 20-30 years:
The candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1992 and not later than 01-01-2002.
03) For the posts for which the age limit is 18-30 years:
The candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1992 and not later than 01-01-2004.
04) For the post for which the age limit is 18-32 years:
The candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1990 and not later than 01-01-2004.
Essential Educational Qualifications (As on 08-10-2022):
Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer:
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
Desirable Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary
OR
Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance)
OR
Masters in Business Economics.
During the period of probation, direct recruits shall have to qualify the “Subordinate Audit/ Accounts Service Examination” in respective branches for confirmation and regular appointments as Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer.
Junior Statistical Officer:
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at the 12th standard level;
OR
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
All other Posts:
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

01) At least two (2) Passport-size recent color photographs,
02) Original valid Photo-ID proof having the Date of Birth as printed on the Admission Certificate, such as:
A) Aadhaar Card/ Printout of E-Aadhaar,
B) Voter’s ID Card,
C) Driving License,
D) PAN Card,
E) Passport,
F) ID Card issued by University/ College/ School,
G) Employer ID Card (Govt./ PSU),
H) Ex-Serviceman Discharge Book issued by Ministry of Defence,
I) Any other photo-bearing ID Card issued by the Central/ State Government.
