Essential Academic Qualifications:
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University
OR
Any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government including Integrated Dual Degree (IDD).
Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant would also be eligible
Note:
The date of passing the eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet or provisional certificate issued by the University/ Institute. In case the result of a particular examination is posted on the website of the University/ Institute, a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University/ Institute indicating the date on which the result was posted on the website will be taken as the date of passing.
Experience (Post Essential Academic Qualification) as on 30th September, 2022:
Minimum 2 years Experience
(Post Essential Academic Qualification Experience) as on 30th September, 2022 as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank.
OR
Any Regional Rural Bank as listed in the Second Schedule of Reserve Bank of India
Age Limit: (As on 30th September, 2022):
Not below 21 years and Not above 30 years as on 30th September, 2022.
i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 30th September 2001 and
Not earlier than 01st October,1992
(both days inclusive).

For Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes Category:

For Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer Category:
03 Years
For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) Category:
PwBD (SC/ ST) - 15 Years

PwBD (Gen/ EWS) - 10 Years
Eligible -
Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs)/ Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) who have rendered 5 years of military service and have been released on completion of assignment otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or physical disability attributable to military service or invalidment.

Emoluments:
Presently, the starting basic pay is 36,000/-
In the scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I plus 2 advance increments
(For work experience of 2 years or more in officer cadre in any Scheduled Commercial Bank/ Regional Rural Bank).
The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical, and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.

Some Important Notes:
Eligible candidates, who aspire to join the State Bank of India as an Officer, are required to register online after carefully reading the advertisement regarding the selection process, eligibility criteria, online registration processes, payment of prescribed application fee, issuance of call letters, process & pattern of examination/ interview, etc. and ensure that they fulfill the stipulated criteria and follow the prescribed processes.
Candidates working with subsidiaries of Scheduled Commercial Banks will not be eligible to apply.
Candidates working in SBI in the clerical/ supervisory cadre or employees engaged on a contract basis will not be eligible to apply.
Candidates who have resigned from officer grade in SBI will not be eligible to apply.

The download of Call Letters:
The candidates should download their call letter (for Online Exam & Interview) and an “Acquaint yourself booklet”, by entering their registration number and password/ date of birth from the Bank's website.
No Hard Copy of the Call Letters will be sent by Post.
