Education Qualification:

Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

OR

Technology/AMIE with not less than 65% marks, as per respective Institute/University norms 

(55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates). 

Candidates must have appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) - 2022.

A candidate with the prescribed degree identified for the disciplines as given below can only apply for the post of EET in the respective discipline:

Age Limit:

The Upper Age limit for General/ EWS Candidates:

27 years as on the last date of online application. 

Age Relaxation:

Age relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwBD/ XSM Candidates:

Applicable as per Government guidelines.

Placement:

Candidates who will be selected will have to undergo one-year training at various locations.

The final place of posting will be decided after the completion of the training of candidates.

Candidates can be assigned for shift operation of power plants in any project/station across the country including subsidiaries/JV companies of NTPC and are required to work in shifts (including night shifts).

Application for the post will be considered as the consent of the candidate to work in shifts (including the night shift).

Selection Process:  

Candidates must have appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2022. 

Candidates will be selected based on the GATE-2022 performance.
